Speculation abounds about how the birthers found this obscure article which doesn’t appear to be on any search engine, and it has been suggested that the article is a fake; but that’s not likely. More likely is the fact that Barack Obama (the President’s father) was born in Kenya just led to a little confusion. I mean after all, if folks today can’t find a shred of evidence to support the crazy idea the President was born in Kenya today, how could a newspaper back in 2004 have found anything (particularly when the article was just a small Kenya-twist embellishment on an AP story).

Oh, you say, there is a great conspiratorial cover-up of the evidence? Sure, OK. [Obot1 backs away slowly, making no sudden moves.]

Impeach!

The NoBots have been busy trying to redefine “natural born citizen” by denying that it comes to us from the British Common Law.  But now GOP operative Floyd Brown, in an article in WorldNetDaily has been busy trying to redefine the British Common law itself , this time the definition of “impeachment”.

Article I, Section 4 of the Constitution reads: “The President, Vice President and all civil officers of the United States, shall be removed from office on impeachment for, and conviction of, treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors.”

The key phrase here is “high crimes and misdemeanors,” a concept in English common law well-known to our Founding Fathers, but grossly misunderstood in this day and age. “High crimes and misdemeanors” essentially means bad behavior….

Go read the article yourself. I DID NOT MAKE THIS UP. The article goes on to say:

In other words, “high crimes and misdemeanors” does not refer to a criminal act. Our Founding Fathers fully intended to allow for the removal of the president for actions which include: gross incompetence, negligence and distasteful behavior.

For those who mistakenly hold the illusion that impeaching Barack Hussein Obama would be a simple matter of “playing politics,” the founders fully intended that the impeachment of a sitting president be a political act….

Impeachment is no more or less than the recall of an elected official who isn’t up to the job.

I see this as proof of the low regard the birther leaders have for their followers. They think they  are idiots–complete idiots. Personally, I think it’s time to impeach Floyd Brown, Rush Limbaugh, WorldNetDaily and the whole bunch for “distasteful behavior” and “public stupidity”.

Flat Earth map

Taking a page from the birther playbook, flat earthers (people who deny the earth is roughly a sphere, but rather claim that it is a flat circular plane) have argued that they haven’t seen a birth certificate for the Earth and are holding out for one before they are willing to agree that the Earth is shaped like a ball instead of a coin. (That big white circle around the map at left is Antarctica.)

I understand that some preliminary contacts have been made between The Flat Earth Society and Dr. Ron Polarik about using his computer imaging expertise to expose the government’s fake photographs of the earth from space which flat earthers claim has been “Photoshopped”.  (Dr. Polarik has of recent times been using an argument based on President Obama’s Certification of Live Birth to show that space aliens and the abominable snowman are imaginary.)

A coalition of conservative Christians have made it clear that they do not need to see the world’s birth certificate to reject the flat earth model. They know that the earth, according to the Bible, has four corners.

The Flag Code of the United States clearly defines what is respect for the flag of the United States, and what is disrespectful, and in fact ILLEGAL. This is from section 285b of title 2 of the U.S. Code.

(d) The flag should never be used as wearing apparel, bedding, or drapery.

Birther View

Here is an island of sanity on the Internet, a respite from the Birthers. In case you haven’t noticed, the blog’s About page has changed to make it clear what our tag line, “Birthers need not apply” means.

This brings us to the tangled mass of web sites making up the Texas Broadcasting Network, and its forum illiterately labeled, “This Forum is a OBOT free zone”. Struggling to communicate their twisted view of the world, they have taken to calling President Obama: “BOZO”. This as much as anything demonstrates their distorted perception of reality that turns Barack Obama into Bozo the Clown.

Who knows. Perhaps Graham will run for President in 2016 following Obama’s 2nd term in office.

Usually the judge throws out a birther lawsuit, and then the birthers attack the judge as a coward, or a traitor, or incompetent.

This time, before Judge Simandle rules in Kerchner v. Obama, the birthers are already attacking, painting him a radical liberal elitist, I presume in preparation for the inevitable dismissal.

Oh, those birthers!

Then there was the open feud between Orly Taitz and Gary Kreep that surfaced in court in the Barnett (Keyes) v. Obama case in California.

Now Orly’s helpers and witnesses in Barnett say Orly asked them to lie. The article is reported at RenewAmerica.com in the article, Orly Taitz accused of suborning perjury for Barnett v. Obama — updated including affidavit, etc.

Larry Sinclair (anti-Obama smear author) says:

Later today I will be faxing to the United States District Court in Santa Ana, California as well as to the U.S. Attorney’s Office an Affidavit informing Judge Carter that on September 7, 2009 Orly Taitz did knowingly and intentionally ask me to appear before his Court on September 8, 2009 and give knowingly false testimony for the purpose of obtaining “expedited discovery,” and to gain publicity for my book.

It’s really not a question of Sinclair’s word against Taitz. They are ALL frauds, but I just admit there is a certain satisfaction that these fear mongers and propagandists have turned on themselves; they deserve it.

A birther front fake news site (really a free WordPress.com blog), the Post and Email, put out a big story, blown around the birther ditto web sites, that the New Hampshire Secretary of State was investigating Obama’s eligibility. Yeah, right.

According to the Concord Monitor:

Dear birthers: New Hampshire Secretary of State Bill Gardner is not investigating President Obama’s birth status. If asked, his staff will say no, and that doesn’t mean, “We won’t tell you.” It means no.

Of course for birthers, a story works just as well whether it is true or not.

The Congress of the United States, in joint session, already certified the election of Barack Obama as President without objection. Birthers cannot seem to get their minds around this fact. It is, of course, the nature of a delusion for the delusion to seem real, and for the holder of a conspiracy theory to see every contradiction to their theory as proof of how deep the conspiracy runs.

Federal judges are deemed traitors; the Supreme Court are labeled “WUSSY”; and the Congress called “gutless”.
